Beach Volleyball League Game #1

Joined a volleyball beach 4's league with my friend. Thursday was the first day of games. I go straight there after work with my gym stuff, go into the change room only to realize I forgot my t shirt, but I did remember to pack my sweatshirt and sweatpants. Still in my dress shirt, pants and shoes, I ask my friend if he has an extra shirt, after he says no and laughs at me, I start cursing. I wear my sweatshirt to play the first game, but towards the end of the first set, I am getting so hot and I can feel the sweat dripping down my back and arms. I couldn't take it anymore and just went topless, which was followed by some whistling by my friend and jeering by the other team.

We ended the day doing pretty well considering it was the first time we all played together, went 4-2 out of the 6 sets we played. Looking forward to next time but I'll make sure I remember to bring a shirt.

Miami vs. Boston - Game 5/Food Network

Watched half of the Miami vs. Boston game today, while switching to the Food Network during timeouts and commercials. Is it sad that I think I enjoyed watching the Food Network more? Don't get me wrong, it was a great basketball game but I can watch the Food Network all day long. The only problem is it always makes me want to eat, even at 10pm... I proceeded to eat half an ice cream cake.... No not really, but I did have a slice. Argghh

Ramstein concert

Just got home from the Ramstein concert. Now normally I'm not the biggest fan of heavy metal, but the show was amazing. The lighting, pyrotechnics, the antics. This was definitely one of the best shows I've ever seen. I wish the camera on my phone wasn't so bad or I would post some pictures from the concert.

They say that people today have more free time then ever before. With that, you might think that with all this free time we'd have rocket packs or time machines by now. Nope, what we do instead is watch countless hours of mind-numbing TV, surf the internet for hours on end, and watch youtube videos... who needs time machines anyways?
